ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. . .

I needed that! and as I bask in the many pleasures and joys of the perfect cup of coffee, I find that joining us today is a narwhal (whose tusk is actually a tooth, you'll be fascinated to know)
I hope you have
a good day
with some
in excellent company

I wasn't fascinated, at best mildly interested, but thanks for the coffee.

The excellent company is you at the coffee shop with an Americano, and Mel, seeing how happy she is. Wish it could be in the flesh, but it will have to be figuratively again this week.

Peace.

Narwhal

Around their igloo fires with glee
The Eskimos tell tales
Of Narwhal. Listen and you'll see
This unicorn of whales
Through frosty waves off Greenland's coast
Majestically advance.
And like a knight come forth to joust
Hold high its wary lance.

Thank you, I. A moment or two with you over coffee always makes a good day with some excellent company.

Today's riddle: How does a narwhal clean its teeth?

english inukshuk said...

Christopher apparently it thrusts it thru the ice, but I dn't think that's the answer you were looking for. . .

Mel as many cups as it takes, dearheart

It's just what I do. LOL
Well, that and mass amounts of coffee.
And bubbles.
OH!
I'll try bubbles today!!! Not cuz it's warm and bubble blowing weather--but because it's cold and it's bubble weather.
k......it's always bubble weather! LOL

bubbles sound good. . .

I'm not here because I'm on the sofa with three kittens and their mother and her half brother (not the father, you'll be pleased to know) with a HUGE pile of knitted squares that I'm turning into a throw. . . think I've knitted around 100 and am sewing them up initially into squares of four, which I then plan to arrange into a suitable pattern and sew up further - only, some of the squares only have three suitable partners so I'm having to knit a few extra squares (seven at the current reckoning) and it's totally distracting me from everything else!!! but your talking of bubbles has inspired me to put my needles down and go have a lovely bath

I don't think the kittens will be joining me!!

feeling a lot better - thank you, dearheart - they finally told me (after a recall for a third set of x-rays) that I had probably had pleurisy, which now seems to be gone
