Oh Brilliant! I remember spending most of a wet weekend on a campsite, learning how to make these and then teaching all three children how to do it too.

(not that we've forgotten those in earthquaked NZ, flooded Australia, earthquaked Haiti, flooded Pakistan, and probably those till affected by Hurican Katrina too, eh)(I'm sure there are more we could add to that list)
(X is not at all artistic, but has very proficient paper folding skills of which I'm quite jealous - not being as neat and perfectionist as he, my creations are nothing like as good; he's slowly training Mini-Teen up in the ways of the art and she's becoming quite talented!)

Himself was rather impressed with the dollar bill I folded into a neat little shirt.
*laughing* So much so that he still has the darn thing--and displays it. LOL
He's silly.
I MUCH prefer the birdie.....and what it represents.
