*happy, happy sigh*

*sad, sad sigh*
once again I'm relieved that it is Friday and we can kick back with a rather gorgeous cup of coffee; but it was with a heavy heart that I read that the wonderful KAZ died a few weeks back. . . in her honour I offer you all a share of one of her many gifts to me

it's weird, isn't it - to feel this way about someone one's never met but had many happy fun and interesting exchanges with using this medium

she died on Valentine's Day, like my mother, having lived with cancer much longer than the doctor's predicted

I get the impression that she was one brave woman - I certinaly enjoyed getting to know her and it is a sad moment

Isn't it amazing the lives touched through this medium--it is a sad and strange feeling, but a good one to have I think.
It speaks to the importance of presence and of loving.

I'm sad.
But I'm amazed because I know the connectedness which is unexplainable until one lives it. And then sometimes even after, eh?

I'm so sorry to hear this. I didn't visit her blog but her comments always seemed very genuine.

It's Friday afternoon here in Wisconsin USA. I am playing around on the computer, visiting friends. I know you always have that photo of the espresso with the golden crema here on Fridays, and an offer to share. Isn't it somnething that I actually feel like I'm paying you a visit. I know I can come over and see how you're doing and that it's okay. I feel very welcome.
I've heard the name Kaz. I've seen that name in the comments before. I also see that Kaz must have been a friend of many.
I'll take my coffee quietly over here to the corner and sit with Christopher. When you're standing in one spot with no one else around, I'll sneak over and give you a hug.
We don't want our friends to be sad, but we all know sadness will occur when we lose a friend.
