as you can see, today we are taking our Friday refreshments in a cafe on the banks of The Nilewe've seen the temples on the East bank (where the sun rises, so the there is life) and the tombs on the West bank (where the sun sets, so there is the afterlife) (and, if you know your geography, you'll realise that The Nile runs south-north, so we can thank the Ancient Egyptians for the points of the compass); we set off for the drive thru the Red Sea mountains at five in the morning and now it is late afternoon, the sun is setting on our day of Egyptology and our brains are overflowing with information and images
we'll look thru the photos later, but in the meantime, let's settle back with our drinks and bask in sunshine and enjoy the view

Is it okay to have my own thermos full cuz that unidentifiable brown stuff is kinda scary?
Probably rude, huh?
