It's been cloudy and stormy--so I was cheated out of the full moon extravaganza. But I've seen bits and pieces of the glow in the morning (through thinning cloud cover) and that's been kinda cool.
I'll now be humming CCR--you know that don'tcha?! :-P
Doobie Brothers, "Black Water" makes reference to the Mississippi moon. I live really close to the Mississippi River. "Shine on Harvest Moon" by Nora Bayes and Jack Norworth from the turn of the 19th century is popular. My favorite is Neil Young's "Harvest Moon", a love song.
