Friday coffee anyone?

or iced tea, perhaps!
I'm discontented with homes that I've rented
so I have invented my own;
darling, this place is lovely oasis
where life's weary taste is unknown
far from the crowded city
where flowers pretty caress the stream
cozy to hide in, to live side by side in,
don't let it apart in my dream

picture you upon my knee
just tea for two and two for tea
just me for you and you for me alone

nobody near us to see us or hear us
no friends or relations on weekend vacations
we won't have it known that we own a telephone, dear
day will break, you'll wake and start to bake a sugar cake
for you to take for all the boys to see
we will raise a family, a boy for you and a girl for me
can't you see how happy we would be

Just a crème, as usual, please, while Vicus and I play Truth or Dare in the corner.

And I could just fancy a piece of F&N...

Christopher Truth or Dare to win the chocolate or is the chocolate the excuse for where the truth telling and daring will lead. . .

the mind boggles!

in the meantime, your cafe crème with a side glass of iced water and a huge chunk of C'sF&N is yours

Mel I'm somewhat otherly engaged at the moment and can't folow your link - but I will in due course! (I was given a Pink Martini cd some years ago as a present and have loved their weird and wonderfulness ever since)

shot a drum of the afore mentioned is coming you way, sir! (and you can have some of Christpher's C'F&N too, I'm sure you deserve a treat)(x)

stickinthemud (better than being a stick insect!) your pale coloured warm watery drink is on it's way. . . call it "coffee" if you will, but I'm not convinced. . . however, for you, anything to bring a smile to your face. . .(do tell what you get up to with M Christophe!)

I am so sorry I haven't been around in a while. Just a phase, but i miss you very much, especially your Friday coffee visits. Let's sit and share some stories. It never mattered to me what house Ilived in if I had a friend over and we shared time of our lives with each other.
Thanks for being here.

Peace
