going to the chapel cos we're gonna get married of course ordinary people aren't allowed in the door that Ms M went thru on Friday, however we did get a pretty special one 
taking photos inside the Abbey is forbidden but I managed to sneak a couple of those trees (the reason I trekked up to London Town on this occasion - to see those trees)
this is the door that Ms M entered thru on Friday. . . 
before I managed to take a sneaky snap of the lily-of-the-valley and wild strawberries that were positioned at the base of the trees, amongst other English plants, someone spotted my sneakiness and I had to put the camera away, but to give you a tiny taster
it's a long time since I've been to Westminster Abbey and I'd forgotten how totally stuffed to the gills it is with dead people - this was one of my favourite memorials
and one of the spots I liked most was a tiny tranquil garden 
on a map it would be a few feet away from Westminster and Big Ben and all the hustle and bustle of the centre of London, but in reality it is a postage stamp sized place of quiet retreat

Oh, what a lovely place for a wedding.
And what a gorgeous day for all of you to celebrate with the newly wed couple.
There's an abbey I didn't visit during my comings and goings. No photos?! k....I understand that. I was surprised when it WAS allowed. And equally surprised/frightened(?) of the number of bodies I walked on/over. NOT that there's a whole lotta room to squiggle around. And I'd suppose it's an honour to be buried in an abbey--but holy smokes what an ordeal for one who didn't anticipate it or know how to be respectful when they're in the floor and in the walls and everywhere!
I could do that postage stamp place of peace. And the lily of the valley-- :-)
