I talked to my baby on the telephone long distance
I never would've guessed I could miss someone so bad
I really only met her 'bout a week ago
but it doesn't seem to matter to my heart I know that I love her
I'm hoping that I never recover 'cause she's good for me
and it would really make me happy to never let her slip away
I feel like a kid with a teenage crush on a school date
I feel like the lead in "Romeo and Juliet"
I'm a little bit dizzy I'm a little bit scared
I guess I never felt this much aware that I'd love her
I'm hoping that I'll never recover 'cause she's good for me
I know it's gonna make me happy to never let her slip away

RIP ANDREW GOLD

Okay....I'm gonna say something more than 'wow'.

I sooooooooo wanna sit under one of those little hut roofs and watch the blue Red Sea.

Or, maybe not.
I'm a fan of the sunshine..and a rock/shell picker-upper.
Maybe after checking out the beach....or after playing in the sand...or after a paddle in the shallow bits.....
They serve coffee, right? :-/

oh, Mel, they bring you the coffee. . .

and the edge of the shoreline is just covered in little shells that beg to be examined

AND one day there was a sandcastle competition. . . (now, that's a little too organised for me, but some folks loved it!)

Friday 10/6, 08.34: Having SUCH problems posting comments - I wanted to say how much I'm enjoying these endless blue skies and hope you did too.

Can't post comments on more up-to-date posts, don't know why. Perhaps I could tell you more over coffee this morning?

Christopher, you're with us on the east bank of the Nile, at a cafe which is just in front of The Winter Palace, watching the afternoon sun settle slowly towards the horizon as you enjoy some much needed refreshments after your tours of temples and tombs

of blue skies, all I have are photos at the moment - here at home the skies are grey and thunderous and the rain is pouring down in such quantities that the gutters and drains are overflowing and altho the farmers' crops need the water I'm kind of wishing it wasn't in such bibular quantities!
