refreshing glass (or two!) of elderflower cordial?
I'll have you know, I was up as the sun rose picking those flowers. . . it's the only time, as I'm sure you know, that is just right for collecting a basketful of elderflowers. . .
and the lemons? if only I'd been able to go myself to Scicily (where the very best lemons come from) - but, alas, I'm housebound in London SWsomethingorother. . .
I hope that wherever life finds you today, that you're able to partake of a drink loaded with ice cubes to cool and calm you in the heat. . .

I was up at sunrise but I didn't think of elderflowers. How delicious.
I had no clue--so I asked he-who-knows-stuff...and then I pulled a few faces and passed on the flowery syrup. Ummmmm...but I'm so glad to have your company that I changed my mind.
Please don't be offended for the nose plugging--it's nothing personal. Or....you could save the good syrupy stuff and just pass me the lemon water-- JUST sayin'...
Oh, and there are worse things than being housebound in London SWsomethingorother. You could be in --- oh wait, I can't say that online.....LOL The censors would go nutzo.
