bring me sunshine, in your smile,
bring me laughter, all the while,
in
this world where we live, there should be more happiness,
so much joy you can
give, to each brand new bright tomorrow,
make me happy, through the
years,
never bring me, any tears,
let your arms be as warm as the sun from
up above,
bring me fun, bring me sunshine, bring me love.
bring me Sunshine, in your
eyes,
bring me rainbows, from the skies,
life's too short to be spent
having anything but fun,
we can be so content, if we gather little
sunbeams,
be light-hearted, all day
long,
keep me singing, happy songs,
let your arms be as warm as the sun
from up above,
bring me fun, bring me sunshine, bring me love
now, if you are unfamiliar with this little ditty. . . which some of you may be (unfamiliar with the ditty, that is) I suggest you google Morecambe and Wise (Shot) or get your significant other (Mel) to sing it to you
ho ho ho
(-:
and in the meantime, I'm on my knees. . .
. . .I'm begging you, bring me some sunshine!!!

I applaud your sentiments, but is it OK if I don't sing; I fear it may be counter-productive.
and there was I, hoping you'd be the Wise to my Morcambe
Has Vicus got short fat hairy legs, then?
Doing a happy dance over hereyesterday, as I finally got laundry dried in the sunshine.
Happy dance also makes blood circulate faster therefore get warmer.)
Good to see you back,J.
Just saw you over at Ziggi's comments.Hooray! You're up and about!
googling the ditty now
*laughing*
I'll get he-who-undoubtedly-knows-the-ditty to sing it when he gets his tired rearus endus outta bed.
County fair this week.....holymoly it's been a madhouse.
Coffee on the patio has been a scary proposition. LOL BUT at least we're not bored! And we saw chickens...and horses and cows and piggies and bunnies.......and effalumps!
:-)
Ohhhhh.....what the heck--lemme get him up.
<-- impatient person! LOL
Oh.....and I'l trade you sunshine and HOT for some rain.
Sorely needed, though it might be too late for some of the fields south of us......
*sigh*
Poor farmers.......
.....k......NOW I'll go get he-who-knows-the-ditty to sing for me...LOL
Oh yes......he sang AFTER he googled....after he showered. But it was before breakfast! :-)
I like the "life's too short to be spent having anything but fun" line of course. NOT that I need permission or validation to schluff off and play.
:-/
I'll sing along, love
you know me so very well. makes me smile
when you smile, I smile
How's that? Sunshine all over the place. It seems you only had to ask and we are all blessed!
*Singing*
all you lovely people, where did you all come from. . .
now you have me singing another tune. . .
The very thought of you and I forget to do
The little ordinary things that everyone ought to do
I'm living in a kind of daydream
I'm happy as a king
And foolish though it may seem
To me that's everything
The mere idea of you, the longing here for you
You'll never know how slow the moments go till I'm near to you
I see your face in every flower
Your eyes in stars above
It's just the thought of you
The very thought of you, my love
The mere idea of you, the longing here for you
You'll never know how slow the moments go till I'm near to you
I see your face in every flower
Your eyes in stars above
It's just the thought of you
The very thought of you, my love
(Nat King Cole's beautiful version, that starts with a shimmer!)

(or even, you may recall from a long time ago, one of my favourites, The Ink Spots! with such a light touch on the ivories and such a swoon on the brass. . . .)
(one more for luck - Al Bowlly and the Ray Noble Orchestra, from my favourite soundtrack of all time. . . The Singing Detective) (X)

That's great! New song alert!!
However.......
I'll be seeing you
In every lovely summers day
In everything that's light and gay
I'll always think of you that way
I'll find you, in the morning sun
And when the night is new......
I'll be looking at the moon
But I'll be seeing you.
One line and I'm off and running!
*laughing* You haven't lost your touch!! ;-)
*happily humming*
Luv you, miss you.
